Duration: c. 4 minutes, 35 seconds

The title of the work comes from the idiom 'keep your nose to the grindstone', which means to work extremely hard for a long period of time, and forcing yourself into intense effort.
The styles used in the work reflect both the high intensity of continuous, laborious work, and the satisfaction and contentment that comes from achieving the goal that you're working hard to achieve.
